    1 Used as an intermediate of the drug ethylaminopyrimidine and for the synthesis of medicine and dyes.

    2. p-chlorocyanobenzene that is p-chlorobenzeneacetonitrile, is the preparation of 3-methyl-2-(4-chlorophenyl)butyric acid intermediate, can be used for the preparation of cypermethrin, bromethrin and other pyrethroid insecticides, and can be used in the pharmaceutical industry for the preparation of ethylaminopyrimidine.

    Pharmacological action of 4-chlorobenzyl Cyanide.

    Product Method of Bulk 4-chlorobenzyl Cyanide Powder.

    Obtained by the reaction of p-chlorobenzyl chloride and sodium cyanide. Add p-chlorobenzyl chloride and Neosporin to the reaction pot, heat to 100°C, slowly add sodium cyanide aqueous solution, and react at 100-104°C for 5h (add sodium cyanide for 3h, keep warm for 2h). Then add water to dissolve sodium chloride, separate the aqueous layer, get p-chlorocyanine benzyl crude product, distillation under reduced pressure, collect 160 (2.66kPa) fraction to get the finished product.

    Yield 81% or more. P-chlorobenzyl chloride and sodium cyanide in ethanol at 83-85 ℃ reflux 4h, can also be produced. The intermediate for industrial use is slightly yellow liquid, containing p-chlorobenzyl cyanide ≥ 90%. Raw material consumption quota: p-chlorobenzyl chloride (92%) 1432kg/t, sodium cyanide (95%) 450kg/t, neosporin (more than 90%) 18kg/t.
