Uridine is widely distributed in living organisms and is biosynthesised from putrescine (butylenediamine) and adenosine methionine.
Spermidine maintains cell membrane stability, increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and improves the expression of photosystem II (PSII) and related genes.Spermidine also significantly reduces H2O2 and O2.- levels.
Uses and functions of Spermidine.
Spermidine can delay protein senescence. Because different molecular weight proteins may play different roles in the aging process, some large molecular weight proteins may play a key role in controlling the aging process of leaves, and once these proteins begin to degrade, aging is inevitable, and controlling the degradation of these proteins can slow down the process of aging, and the reason why spermidine can delay the aging process may lie in the promotion of the synthesis of these proteins or preventing their degradation.
