Moxifloxacin hydrochloride is used for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and acute sinusitis caused by S. aureus, S. influenzae, S. pneumoniae, S. mucosae, and S. pneumoniae.
Moxifloxacin tablets are used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria in adults (≥18 years of age): e.g. acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia. Photosensitivity/phototoxicity: After application of moxifloxacin hydrochloride, prolonged overexposure to sunlight and ultraviolet radiation may result in moderately severe photosensitivity reactions in the skin, which are mainly manifested as burning sensation, blisters, erythema and oedema.
Therefore, avoid overexposure to light and take protective measures (wearing sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.) during the medication period, and discontinue the medication immediately and seek prompt medical attention if photosensitivity reaction occurs.

Pharmacological Effects of Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride.
