Raw Materials Pyrethrin powder
Product Overview:
Pyrethrin is a natural pyrethrum extract with insecticidal medicinal value, containing pyrethrin Ⅰ, pyrethrin Ⅱ, deltamethrin and jasmolin. Pyrethrins have wide insecticidal spectrum, high gastric toxicity, which is effective against chewing mouth pests; they also have strong poisoning effect, which is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of sucking mouth pests; and they are fast-knocking down, safe for mammals, easy to be degraded, and do not pollute the environment.

Raw Materials Pyrethrin powder Details
Natural pyrethrins slowly decompose into water and CO in the presence of light, so the pesticides or hygienic insecticides formulated with them have no residue and no side effects on humans and animals, and they are internationally recognised as the safest and most harmless natural insecticides.
As pyrethrins are composed of six substances with insecticidal activity extracted from pyrethrum flowers, they have good insecticidal effect and are not easy to produce insect resistance, and can be used to make pesticides to kill pests with strong resistance.
Pyrethrin has the effect of paralysing the central nervous system of insects and is a touch insecticide, so it kills insects quickly and is easily accepted by farmers.
Pyrethrins can be formulated into hygienic sprays for domestic hygiene, and into pesticides for green vegetables, green fruits, green tea and other economic crops. Pyrethrin inhibits nerve tissue. It is insoluble in water and easily soluble in many organic solvents. Low toxicity to higher animals.
Although chrysanthemum in the production and use of easy to cause dermatitis . Even specific allergies . However, this effect can be eliminated in the commercial preparation process. Toxic to aquatic organisms such as fish and bees. Insecticidal activity is high. It is a neurotoxicant and mainly acts as a touch killer.
Uses of Pyrethrin.
Pyrethrins are formulated from a solvent-extracted extract of the flowers of artificially grown pyrethrum.
It belongs to Asteraceae, a kind of perennial rooted plant, pyrethrin (mainly in the flowers) is a typical nerve agent, of which the main components are pyrethrin I and II, which were isolated by L. Luzica and H. Staudinger in 1924.
It has poisoning effects of touch, stomach and repellent, and can act on peripheral nervous system, central nervous system and other organs and tissues at the same time.
It has strong knockdown power against pests, wide insecticide spectrum, low concentration, low toxicity to humans and animals, and safe to plants and environment.
Pharmacological Effect of Pyrethrin.
Pyrethrins have 2 main degradation pathways, photodegradation and biodegradation.
These two degradations often overlap, when it enters warm-blooded animals, i.e. through hydrolysis of the ester chain; when exposed to sunlight and ultraviolet light, it begins to degrade on the hydroxyl group, which promotes oxidation of the acid and alcohol portions of its structure. Pyrethrins are metabolised and excreted much more rapidly in birds and mammals than in insects and fish.
Its initial metabolism in plants is similar to that in livestock.
The same forms of hydrolysis and oxidation of pyrethrins occur in soil, but neither the degradation products nor the intact parent compound are obtained by filtration.
Product method of Pyrethrin.
It exists in the flowers of several species of plants in the subgenus Pyrethrum of the genus Chrysanthemum of the family Compositae, especially the white-flowered pyrethrum (Pyrethrumcinerariaefolium) with the highest content of active ingredients.
Pyrethrum dried flowers containing pyrethrins generally 0.9% ~ 1.3%, extracted by petroleum ether reflux, concentration, crude viscous material containing about 30% of pyrethrins, after dewaxing and decolouring, containing 60% of pyrethrins of the fine products, available for the preparation of extracts and processing of other preparations, such as nitro-methane and so on for further purification, and finally can be obtained with a content of pyrethrins of 80% ~ 85% of the nearly colourless sticky The content of pyrethrin can be 80%~85%, and finally it can be obtained as a colourless viscous, oily and highly pure product.
It can also be extracted with mixed solvents, such as methanol/kerosene, petroleum ether/acetonitrile, petroleum ether/nitromethane and so on.
