Veterinary Medicine Diaveridine Powder CAS 5355-16-8 Raw Materials
Product Overview:
Diaveridine Powder (diaveridine, dvd), also known as dimethoate benzylaminopyrimidine, antimicrobial drug, anticoccidial, anticoccidial, anticardinal leukocyte worm. Drinking water: 0.01%. Mixing: 0.02%, not pronounced to be used alone because of the tendency to develop resistance.Veterinary Medicine Diaveridine is often used with sulfonamides or antimicrobials in a ratio of 1:5.Diaveridine Raw Materials enhances antimicrobial and bactericidal effects. The drug can not be used in conjunction with anticoccidial drugs such as lasamycin, monensin, salinomycin, etc. It should be used with caution in laying hens and preferably with sodium bicarbonate at the same time.

Diaveridine Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Diaveridine Powder (diaveridine, dvd), also known as dimethoate benzylaminopyrimidine, antimicrobial drug, anticoccidial, anticoccidial, anticardinal leukocyte worm. Drinking water: 0.01%. Mixing: 0.02%, not pronounced to be used alone because of the tendency to develop resistance.Veterinary Medicine Diaveridine is often used with sulfonamides or antimicrobials in a ratio of 1:5.
Diaveridine Raw Materials enhances antimicrobial and bactericidal effects. The drug can not be used in conjunction with anticoccidial drugs such as lasamycin, monensin, salinomycin, etc. It should be used with caution in laying hens and preferably with sodium bicarbonate at the same time.
Diaveridine Raw Materials White or light yellow crystalline powder, odorless. Melting point 224-233℃. Slightly soluble in water, ethanol, ether, chloroform and dilute alkali, soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid.
Uses and functions of Diaveridine Powder.
Diaveridine Powder has antimicrobial effect, it has obvious synergistic effect on sulfonamides and antimicrobials, it is less absorbed internally and has high concentration in the stomach and intestines, it is suitable for intestinal infections,
Veterinary Medicine Diaveridine is mixed with sulfa quinoline or sulfa p-methoxymethyl pyrimethamine to make a pre-mixed agent that can be added to the feed, it can be made into tablets and creams, it is used to treat poultry bacterial infections and also has good preventive and control effects against coccidiosis and livestock infections.
Diaveridine can be used for the treatment of bacterial infections in poultry, anticoccidioidomycosis and intestinal infections in livestock and poultry, and also has a good preventive effect.
Uses Sulfanilamide synergist, used to prevent and control bacterial infections in poultry.Diaveridine Raw Materials is also an anticoccidial drug, combined with sulfaquinoxaline, to treat coccidiosis in poultry. UsesAntibacterial effect, have obvious synergistic effect on sulfonamides and antibiotics.
Pharmacological Effects of Diaveridine Powder.
TMP is a special antimicrobial agent for livestock and poultry, with the same antimicrobial effect and antimicrobial range as TMP, it has obvious synergistic effect on sulfonamides and antimicrobials, but its oral absorption rate is low. The concentration of the drug in the blood is only 1/5 of that of TMP, and the inhibitory effect of combining with anti-coccidial sulfonamides on coccidia is stronger than that of TMP.
Production method of Diaveridine Powder.
- 1. Vanillin is used as raw material, first methylated with dimethyl sulfate to obtain 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde (veratraldehyde), and then condensed with methoxypropionitrile to produce 3',4'-dimethoxy-2-cyano-3-methoxypropene, and then by addition, and finally with guanidine nitrate cyclic combination and obtained.
- 2. vanillin dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution at 60-80 ℃ dropwise addition of dimethyl sulfate, and alkaline conditions (HP7-9) under reflux reaction 3h. The reaction solution is slightly cooled with toluene extraction, the extract recovered solvent to get veratraldehyde. In methanol and sodium methanol solution, veratraldehyde and methoxypropionitrile were refluxed at 65-70°C for 5h. The reaction solution was cooled with water and crystallized.
- 3. Crystallize after cooling with water, filter and dry to obtain 3',4'-dimethoxy-2-cyano-3-methoxypropene. The above condensate was reacted with guanidine nitrate in methanol and sodium methanol with stirring at 75°C for 2h, then the reaction was continued at 95°C for 5h.
- 4. Crystals were precipitated after cooling, and the crude product of dimethoxybenzylaminopyrimidine was filtered. The crude product was recrystallized by acetic acid, decolorized by activated carbon (95℃, 1h), alkaline precipitated by ammonia, separated and dried to obtain the finished product.
