Maduramicin AmmonoiumPowder Usage and Synthesis.
Ammonium Maduramycin is a kind of anti-coccidiosis drug developed by American Cyanamid Company, with a broad spectrum of anti-coccidiosis, which is one of the most effective anti-coccidiosis drugs.
Maduramycin is a monovalent glycoside polyether ion carrier antibiotic.
It is the strongest anticoccidial drug with the lowest concentration of polyether anticoccidial drug, widely used in broiler anticoccidial. The anti-coccidial mechanism of Maduramycin is the same as that of Monensin.
Uses of Maduramicin Ammonoium.
Maduramycin ammonium salt as anticoccidial drug, effective against heap type Aimer (Aeromonas), Aeromonas brucei, Aeromonas megaterium, Aeromonas concordata, Aeromonas variegata, Aeromonas tenderis, and Aeromonas toxigenicus, and inhibitory to most Gram-positive bacteria as well. It can be used in chicken feed, the dosage is 5(500×104U)g/t, prohibited during egg-laying period, the withdrawal period is 5-7 days; the dosage is more than 6g/t when it is obvious to inhibit the growth, and it should be careful to mix it with other drugs.
Use: Coccidiostat, kill the host body parasites. FDA regulations: only for broilers, add 4.54-5.54g per meal (i.e. 5-6E-6). The advantages of this product are small dosage, non-toxic to equine animals.
Anti-coccidial efficacy of Maduramicin Ammonoium.
Tests show that maduramicin has inhibitory effect on early ascospores, trophozoites and 1st generation schizonts of coccidia.
Maduramycin ammonium is mainly used for broiler coccidiosis, according to the test on the chicken giant, toxic, tender, stacked and Brucella Eimeria coccidia have good inhibitory effect, its anti-coccidial effect is better than monensin, salinomycin, methyl salinomycin and other anti-coccidial drugs.
