Sodium dihydrogen phosphate is colourless crystal or white crystalline powder, odourless, soluble in water, its aqueous solution is acidic, almost insoluble in ethanol, heating loss of crystalline water can be decomposed into acidic sodium pyrophosphate (Na3H2P2O7). Commonly used in the fermentation industry to regulate pH, food processing with disodium hydrogen phosphate with food quality improver. Sodium dihydrogen phosphate has a wide range of uses, it can be used as a raw material for the manufacture of sodium hexametaphosphate and sodium pyrophosphate; it can also be used in tanning, treatment of boiler water; as a quality improver and baking powder, as a buffering agent and raw material for baking powder in the food industry and the fermentation industry; it is also used as a feed additive, a detergent, and dyeing auxiliaries. In food industry and fermentation industry, it can also be used as buffer agent, raw material of baking powder, adhesive and ripening agent of bread and salsa, souring agent of powder, quality improver of light condensed milk; it can also be used as stabilising agent and adhesive agent of cheese and other dairy products, meat and fish products, buffer agent of bakery powder, and mixing salt of marinade.
