Pharmacological Effects of 6-Gingerol Powder.
6-Gingerol is a bioactive compound with antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor drugs. 6-Gingerol down-regulates the release of inflammatory cytokines from macrophages. Production method of 6-Gingerol Powder.
(1) Gingerol extraction and concentration: sliced ginger placed in a small multifunctional extraction and concentration tank, with a mass concentration of 80~95% ethanol at 1:6~15 material-liquid mass-volume ratio at 60~80 ℃ heating reflux extraction, the extraction time is 2~3 hours each time, each batch of ginger extracted 2~4 times, each time the extracted extract flowed into the said small multifunctional extraction and concentration tank, the unified concentration of ginger obtained extract;
(2) ginger phenol extraction: put said ginger extract in a glass reactor, extract with ethyl acetate, the number of times of extraction 2~4 times, combined to get the extract; the extract is recovered by rotary evaporator under reduced pressure to get the ginger phenol crude extract; the volume ratio of said ginger extract to said ethyl acetate is 1:2~4;
(3) silica gel column chromatography: dissolve said gingerol crude extract in ethyl acetate, and then add said gingerol crude extract 2~4 times the weight of silica gel mixing samples, solvent ethyl acetate evaporated dry, dry on silica gel column; with petroleum ether-ethyl acetate mixed solvent isocratic elution, thin-layer chromatography TCL detection, collection of eluent containing 6-gingerol part, with the rotary evaporator to recover said eluate under reduced pressure to obtain the crude 6-gingerol; said crude 6-gingerol was again put on a silica gel column, and the purer 6-gingerol was obtained by elution, detection, collection and recovery of solvent according to the above method;
(4) Preparation of HPLC purification: the purer 6-gingerol obtained from said step (3) was dissolved with methanol-water mixed solvent to prepare HPLC purification, eluted with methanol-water mixed solvent as mobile phase isocratic elution, the largest chromatographic peak was collected, and placed on a rotary evaporator and evaporated to a constant weight, which is to obtain the highly pure 6-Gingerol.
