Albizia Julibrissin Extract Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Acacia extract is prepared from the flower buds of Acacia julibrissinDurazz. Acacia is also known as Acacia rice, synonym night flower, Wuzhong, mainly produced in Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Sichuan and other places.

It has the function of relieving depression and tranquilising the mind, and is mainly used for the symptoms of insomnia, depression, forgetfulness and dreaming; it can also be used for the diagnosis and treatment of bruises and carbuncle and swelling pain.

Acacia extract is mainly composed of quercetin, quercetin, rutin and other flavonoids, flavonoids is the main active ingredient, with antidepressant and tranquilliser, sedative and hypnotic effect.

Uses of Albizia Julibrissin Extract.

Relieving depression and tranquilising the mind. It is mainly used for treating deficiency annoyance and insomnia, depression, forgetfulness and insomnia.

Insomnia:Acacia, cinnamon, Huanglian 10g each, Shouwu Teng 12g, water decoction, 1 dose per day, for insomnia, the efficacy is clear.

Bruises:Acacia 15g, safflower, elongation grass, Angelica sinensis, and Sequel 10g, decoction with water, 1 dose daily.

Neurosis:Acacia, fried jujube kernel 15g, Astragalus 20g, Poria, windproof 10g, water decoction, 1 dose per day, for neurosis, the efficacy is clear.

Pharmacological effect of Albizia Julibrissin Extract.

1.Anti-obesity

The 90% ethanol extract of Acacia spp. inhibits the formation of fat and the activity of glycerophosphate dehydrogenase in mouse adipocytes (3T3-L1) preadipocytes.

Four flavonol glycosides isolated from it inhibited the accumulation of triglycerides, the formation of fat in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes, the activity of glycerophosphate dehydrogenase, and the uptake of glucose by 3T3-L1 adipocytes;

Thus, Acacia 90% extract has potential use in combating obesity by inhibiting the differentiation of preadipocytes.

2.Bacteriostatic

The ethanol extract of Acacia spp. had an inhibitory effect on five test organisms, namely Vibrio canis, Vibrio gauloensis, Bacillus megaterium, Vibrio eel and Vibrio harveyi and the diameter of the inhibitory circle increased with the increase in the concentration of the extract; however, the inhibitory effect on five test organisms varied with the change in the concentration of the extract, and the inhibitory effect on the four marine Vibrio spp. was significantly stronger than that on Vibrio megaterium.

Vibrio harveyi and Vibrio canis can cause diseases in fish, shrimp, shellfish, and gill cucumber, causing losses to the aquaculture industry, and the extract of Acacia canis has a better inhibitory effect on common marine pathogens, which can be used as a source for the development of new fish medicine.
