Product details
Cephalexin is mainly used for respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, obstetrics and gynecology infection, skin and soft tissue infection, gonorrhea and so on caused by sensitive bacteria. Cephalexin is a broad spectrum antibiotic. The mechanism of action in human body is to inhibit the synthesis of cell wall, so that the substances in the cell expand and finally break and dissolve, so as to achieve bactericidal effect. Human cells have no cell wall and are therefore harmless to humans. It is mainly used for gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria infection, and also has a good bactericidal effect on penicillin-resistant bacteria. The absorption is rapid and complete after entering the body, and the bioavailability is high.
Uses of Cephalexin.
Cephalexin is the first synthetic oral cephalosporin, stable to acid and penicillinase. Its antibacterial mechanism, antibacterial spectrum and indications are similar to cephalothiophene, but the antibacterial strength is weaker than the latter and cephalothiophene, and it is used for mild infection. A choice of drugs for the treatment of respiratory infections.
Pharmacological action of Cephalexin.
The bacteriostatic mechanism of cephalexin is that by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, the cell contents expand to cell autolysis, thus achieving bactericidal effect. Cephalexin is a broad spectrum antibiotic. It has antibacterial effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and its antibacterial ability is 20 times larger than penicillins, 10 times larger than sulfonamides and 5 times larger than quinolones.
Cephalexin is the first generation of cephalosporin, its antibacterial spectrum is basically the same as that of cephalosporin, but its antibacterial activity is weaker than the latter. In addition to Enterococcus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, most strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic streptococcus, and penicillinase producing or non-producing staphylococcus were sensitive to this product.
Cephalexin has obvious antibacterial effect on Neisseria, but not on Haemophilus influenzae. The product has certain antibacterial action against some Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella and shigella. Other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, acinetobacter, pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacteroides fragile showed resistance to this product. Clostridium and Vergeon are generally sensitive to this product, and anaerobic gram-positive cocci are moderately sensitive to this product.
Product method of Bulk Cephalexin Powder.
Cefalexin was obtained from penicillin potassium by oxidation, ring enlargement, cleavage to 7-amino-deacylloxy-cefanoic acid, and then condensed with side chain.
