Ethacridine Lactate Monohydrate Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Ethacridine Lactate Monohydrate is a lactate hydrate of α-ethoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine, which is a topical antiseptic. • 1. various wounds, skin mucous membrane exudation, erosion and infected wounds: washing or wet dressing of infected wounds with 0.1% to 0.3% solution; or topical application of 0.1% or 0.5% ointment for wounds.
• 2. Induction of labour in mid-term pregnancy: use 0.2% of the injection solution (can be diluted with sterilized water for injection) for intra-amniotic injection through the lower abdominal wall, 10ml each time for those over 20 weeks' gestation and 5ml each time for those under 20 weeks' gestation; the dosage can be 50-100mg at one time, but the extreme dosage is 120mg; the delivery is usually about 42 hours after the dosage; if the delivery does not take place in more than 48 hours, a second injection or other methods are required. If the baby is not delivered in more than 48 hours, a second injection is required or other methods can be used; the method of extra-fetal injection can also be used, in which 50ml of 0.1% solution is injected into the uterine cavity with a catheter, which is retained for 24 hours and then removed.
