Vitamin B2 is naturally found in the liver and kidney of animals, as well as in meat and dairy and other foods, and is produced industrially by fermentation and chemical synthesis methods.
Fermentation
Take glucose, corn syrup, inorganic salt, etc. as the culture medium, and use special active bacterium, Pseudocystis aristolochiae (Eremotheciumashbyii), to cultivate the deep fermentation at 28℃ for 9d, and the fermentation liquid contains about 6~8g/L riboflavin products. The extraction yield is 60% to 70%.
