Product details
Gentamycin Sulfate is a white or white crystalline powder with moisture-absorbing properties. It dissolves easily in water, insoluble in lipids, and insoluble in organic solvents. It is chemically stable and sensitive to temperature and pH changes. Gentamicin Sulfate Powder is a glucoside bactericidal antibiotic linked by amino sugar and ligand, Gentamycin Sulfate CAS 1405-41-0 is an aminoglycoside drug, Gentamicin Sulfate Powder is white or off-white powder; Gentamicin Sulfate is odorless, bitter in taste, has Gentamicin Sulfate Powder is used in poultry (chicken, duck, goose) for bacterial diseases such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Dysentery bacillus, Pasteurella, duck pluritis,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus. Gentamycin Sulfate is used for bacterial diseases such as enteritis, yellow and white dysentery in pigs.Gentamycin Sulfate is used for bacterial diseases such as gill rot, white skin disease, white head and white mouth disease, vertical scale disease, red leg disease, shrimp gill rot and enteritis in aquatic. Gentamicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, which is an glycoside formed by aminocyclohexyl polyol and aminoglyaccharide. Gentamicin molecule has five basic centers, for the base Chemicalbook compound, the drug is gentamicin sulfate. Gentamicin is a complex of C components, mainly consisting of C1, C2, C1a and C2a.
Pharmacokinetics of Gentamycin Sulfate Powder:
Gentamycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside Antibiotic. The mechanism of Gentamycin Sulfate is to prevent the release of synthesized proteins and increase the permeability of bacterial cell membranes, which leads to the leakage of some important physiological substances and causes bacterial death. Gentamicin sulfate is a glucoside antibiotic made of amino sugar and ligand linkage, which is the sulfate of gentamicin and has an antibacterial spectrum similar to that of kanamycin. Gentamicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside, which acts on the ribosomes of bacteria, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, and disrupts the integrity of bacterial cell membranes to exert bactericidal effects.
It is mainly used for systemic or local infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Bacillus dysenteriae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Ophthalmology is used for conjunctivitis, keratitis, etc. Oral can be used for intestinal infection or preparation for colon surgery; also can be combined with metronidazole or clindamycin to reduce the rate of colon surgery infection. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of Gram-negative bacilli resistant to gentamicin. When this product is combined with β-lactams, most of them can obtain synergistic antibacterial effect.
Clinical Application of Gentamycin Sulfate Powder:
This drug has strong antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus (indole positive and negative), Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Shigella, Citrobacter, Neisseria, Staphylococcus aureus (excluding methicillin-resistant strains). Gentamicin sulfate is not effective against streptococci (including Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus faecalis, etc.), anaerobic bacteria (Mycobacterium avium spp.), Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Rickettsiae, viruses and fungi.
It is suitable for neonatal sepsis, sepsis, central nervous system infection, respiratory tract infection, urogenital system infection, biliary tract infection, skin, bone, otitis media, sinusitis, soft tissue infection caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aspergillus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Citrobacter, and Staphylococcus; Gentamicin sulfate is not applicable to simple urinary tract infection, and is not effective for Pneumococci and anaerobic bacteria are not effective. Gentamicin sulfate is indicated for extra-central infections caused by sensitive bacteria, and the main indications are as follows.
1, for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, biliary tract infections, intestinal tract infections, abdominal cavity infections, genitourinary system infections (except simple urinary tract infections for primary treatment), skin and soft tissue infections, burn infections and neonatal sepsis and septicemia caused by sensitive bacteria.
2, For the treatment of listeriosis.
3, Intrathecal injection and coadministration of clindamycin or metronidazole can be used to reduce the incidence of infection after colonic surgery.
4, Intrathecal injection of gentamicin sulfate can be used as an adjuvant treatment for severe central nervous system infections (meningitis, ventriculitis) caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Staphylococcus.
5, Oral administration can be used for the treatment of bacterial dysentery or other bacterial intestinal infections, and can also be used in preparation for colon surgery.
6, Eye drops are indicated for coagulase-negative and positive staphylococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, Pneumococcus, H. influenzae and other gram-negative bacilli and gonococci caused by conjunctivitis, keratitis, dacryocystitis, blepharitis, mydriasis, blepharitis and corneal ulceration, etc.
It is used clinically for sepsis, respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection, purulent peritonitis, intracranial infection, urinary tract infection and bacillary dysentery caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Bacillus dysenteriae, Klebsiella spp. and other sensitive bacteria.
