Madubamycin ammonium Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Maduramycin ammonium is a kind of anti-coccidiosis drug developed by American Cyanamid Company, with a broad spectrum of anti-coccidiosis, which is one of the most effective anti-coccidiosis drugs at present. Maduramycin is a monovalent glycoside polyether ion carrier antibiotic. It is the strongest anticoccidial drug with the lowest concentration of polyether anticoccidial drug, widely used in broiler anticoccidial. Maduramycin is the same as Monensin.

Uses and functions of Madubamycin ammonium.

Maduramycin ammonium salt as anticoccidial drug, effective against heap-type Eimeria (Ehrlichia), Ehrlichia burgdorferi, Ehrlichia megaterium, Ehrlichia concordata, Ehrlichia variegata, Ehrlichia tenderis and Ehrlichia toxigenica, and inhibitory to most Gram-positive bacteria as well.

It can be used in chicken feed, the dosage is 5(500×104U)g/t, prohibited during egg-laying period, the withdrawal period is 5-7 days; the dosage is more than 6g/t when it obviously inhibits the growth, and it should be careful to mix it with other drugs, used in the prevention and control of chicken coccidiosis

Coccidiostat, kill parasites in the host. FDA regulations: only for broilers, add 4.54-5.54g per meal (i.e. 5-6E-6). The advantage of this product is that the dosage is small, non-toxic to equine animals.

Maduramycin ammonium salt is white crystalline powder, melting point is 165-167 ℃, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, because of its broad spectrum of anti-coccidiosis, not easy to produce drug resistance, so the application is very wide, but its dosage is very small, at present, our country regulations, Maduramycin ammonium salt for the prevention of chicken coccidiosis in the feed additive amount of 5mg/kg.

Maduramicin ammonium salt premix has very high requirements on product uniformity and stability, such as the content of the product is required to be 95-110% of the indicated amount, the content uniformity (coefficient of variation) is less than 3%, and the stability is in accordance with the standard requirements.
