Pharmacological Effects of Triclabendazole Powder.

Triclabendazole is an anthelmintic of benzimidazole group, it is an ideal anthelmintic for liver flukes of all ages. It has excellent effect on schistosomiasis in cattle, sheep, goats and other ruminants. The dosage of 10mg/kg can kill 99% of the liver fluke in sheep from 1 to 12 weeks old.

Production method of Triclabendazole Powder.

Triclabendazole treatment of sheep, cows and heifers resulted in a 15.3%, 4.3% and 36.6% decrease in the proportion of trematode egg counts produced, respectively, suggesting the presence of TCBZ-resistant liver flake trematodes in sheep and cattle on this farm.
