Enrofloxacin hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Antibacterial raw materials, mainly used for livestock and poultry bacterial and mycoplasma infections. It is used for respiratory tract, digestive tract, urinary tract, reproductive system and systemic infection of livestock and poultry. Gill rot, enteritis, rotting tail disease and other bacterial infections in marine and freshwater fish.

Uses and functions of Enrofloxacin hydrochloride.

Enrofloxacin Hydrochloride is used for mycoplasmosis of chicken (chronic respiratory disease), avian colibacillosis, fowl dysentery, avian salmonellosis, avian bacillosis, piglet dysentery, yellow dysentery, oedematous colibacillosis in medium-sized and large pigs, mycoplasmal bronchopneumonia, pleuropneumonia in pigs, paratyphoid fever in piglets, as well as mycoplasmal and bacterial diseases in cattle, sheep, rabbits, dogs, etc., and also used for all kinds of bacterial infections in aquatic animals.

Physicochemical Property of Enrofloxacin hydrochloride.

1. It is soluble in acidic or alkaline conditions, slightly soluble in dimethylformamide, chloroform, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in water;

2. Melting point: 221～226℃;

3.Fluorine content: ≥5.0%;

4. Loss on drying (dried to constant weight at 105℃): ≤3.0%;

5. Blazing residue ≤0.2% Heavy metals: ≤20ppm;

6. Particle size range: between 40 mesh and 100 mesh, accounting for more than 99%;

7. The product is deepened in colour by long time light;

8. In the place of high relative humidity storage, easy to absorb moisture lumps.

Preparation method of  Bulk Enrofloxacin hydrochloride Powder.

1. Crude: Enrofloxacin is dissolved in 120 times the water and heated to 90 ℃, add hydrochloric acid for 30min, adjust pH3 ~ 4, hot filtration to remove impurities. Adjusted to pH1 with hydrochloric acid, cooled to precipitate crystals, centrifugation of enrofloxacin hydrochloride.

2. Refinement: take the crude Enrofloxacin hydrochloride dissolved in appropriate amount of distilled water, add 4% activated carbon decolourisation and filtration, natural crystallisation, dry at 80 ℃ for 10h, to get Enrofloxacin hydrochloride pure product.
