Enduracidin Hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

enramycin is fermented by Streptomyces fungicidicus. It is A polypeptide antibiotic that combines unsaturated fatty acids with more than ten amino acids. Its main components include Enramycin A and B, which are used in the form of hydrochloride. White or yellowish white powder (coarse gray or grayish brown powder, with special odor). Decomposed at 234 ~ 238℃, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, slightly soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, insoluble in acetone.

Uses of Enduracidin Hydrochloride.

Enlamycin has strong activity against gram-positive bacteria and is not easy to develop resistance. It can promote the growth of livestock and poultry and improve feed conversion rate. It can be used for pig feed under 4 months of age, and the dosage is available.

Antibacterial mechanism of Enduracidin Hydrochloride.

The main component of the bacterial cell wall is mucopeptide, which accounts for 65-95% of the total cell wall in Gram-positive bacteria. Enlamycin can prevent the synthesis of mucopeptide, make the cell wall defect, lead to increased osmotic pressure in the cell, and the extracellular fluid penetrates into the bacteria, causing the bacteria to deform and swell, rupture and death. Enramycin mainly acts on the fission stage of bacteria, not only bactericidal, but also bacteriolytic. The minimum inhibitory concentration was 0.05-3.13μg/ml
