Norfloxacin Powder, also known as haloperidol, is a common medication used to treat intestinal infections. Bacterial infectious diarrhea. Norfloxacin tends to be a common medicine at home or travel medicine.
Veterinary Medicine Norfloxacin has high antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, dysentery bacilli, salmonella, etc., and also has good antibacterial effect against Gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus and diplococcus pneumoniae, etc.
Norfloxacin Raw Materials Norfloxacin is mainly used in bacterial DNA promoter to kill bacteria, and it has strong penetration to cell wall, so its bactericidal effect is stronger and less irritation to gastric mucosa.
Uses and functions of Norfloxacin Powder.
As food will slow down the absorption of Haloperidol in the body, taking the drug on an empty stomach before a meal has a 2-3 times higher blood concentration than taking the drug after a meal, so taking it after a meal will make the efficacy of the drug greatly reduced, and may also lead to resistance to Haloperidol or even similar antimicrobial drugs in sensitive bacteria.
It has broad-spectrum and efficient antibacterial effect, wide therapeutic range, good oral absorption, low toxicity, and is mainly used in the treatment of urinary tract infections, biliary tract infections and intestinal infections, with remarkable therapeutic effect.
It is suitable for urinary tract infection, gonorrhea, prostatitis, intestinal infections and typhoid fever and other salmonella infections. Antibacterials, used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, urinary system, gastrointestinal system bacterial infections, the biliary tract, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology infections also have good efficacy.
Pharmacological Effects of Norfloxacin Powder.
Norfloxacin belongs to the third generation of fluoroquinolone antimicrobials together with oxfloxacin, levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin, it has broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect, especially high antibacterial activity against aerobic gram-negative bacilli, and it has good antimicrobial effect against the following bacteria in vitro: most of the bacteria in the family of Enterobacteriaceae, including Bacillus spp, Enterobacter inguinae, Enterobacter aerogenes and other Enterobacteriaceae,
Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, and Proteus spp, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio, and Yersinia. Norfloxacin also has antibacterial activity against multi-drug resistant bacteria in vitro. It also has good antibacterial activity against penicillin-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae and Catamonas. Norfloxacin is a bactericidal agent, which inhibits DNA synthesis and replication by acting on the A subunit of bacterial DNA helicase, leading to bacterial death.
Production method of Norfloxacin Powder.
3,4-Dichloronitrobenzene can be obtained by nitration of o-dichlorobenzene or chlorination of p-nitrochlorobenzene. Then in dimethyl sulfoxide, and potassium fluoride reflux, fluoridation to obtain 3-chloro-4-fluoro nitrobenzene. In the presence of aqueous hydrochloric or acetic acid, 3-chloro-4-fluoroaniline was reduced with iron powder. This is followed by refluxing with triethyl orthoformate and diethyl malonate (to yield diethyl ethoxymethylene malonate) in the presence of ammonium nitrate to give the condensation product.
Heated cyclization in liquid paraffin or diphenyl ether produces ethyl 7-chloro-6-fluoro-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylate. Undergoes ethylation and then hydrolysis to give the ethylated product. Finally, it is condensed with piperazine to obtain norfloxacin.
The process is relatively mature, the yield is high, generally can reach 40% to 65%, but when the piperazine group is introduced in the 7 position, the by-product of the 6 fluorine atom being replaced can account for 25%, which is difficult to separate and affects the yield. The total yield of p-nitrochlorobenzene is more than 8%.
