Ganoderma Triterpenes Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Ganoderma triterpenoids are a class of triterpenoids found in Ganoderma lucidum, scientifically known as Ganoderma triterpenoids, which are highly oxidised lanosterane derivatives, and are one of the main chemical and medicinal components of Ganoderma lucidum. Ganoderma triterpenoids contained in Ganoderma lucidum have particularly significant physiological activities.

Uses of Ganoderma Triterpenes.

Ganoderma triterpenes have various effects such as anti-tumour, anti-complement activity, anti-HIV, anti-hypertension, hepatoprotection and inhibition of histamine release.

Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides, on the other hand, have immunomodulatory, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, antioxidant and anti-aging effects, and both of these components are the main efficacious ingredients of Ganoderma lucidum.

However, for fighting tumours, Ganoderma triterpenes can directly inhibit tumour cells, while polysaccharides generally inhibit tumour cells indirectly by enhancing the body's immunity.

In other words, Ganoderma triterpenes can directly kill cancer cells, while Ganoderma polysaccharides can only indirectly kill cancer cells. Ganoderma triterpenes are "good at attacking" and can damage the DNA of cancer cells, which contains genetic information.
