Actinomycin D Powder is an interferon inducer and is used clinically as an antineoplastic agent.Dactinomycin Powder uses: It is effective against malignant staphyloma and is effective against nephroblastoma, Hodgkin's disease, testicular tumours, rhabdomyosarcoma, neuroblastoma and reticulocytic sarcoma. The mechanism of action is that it is embedded in the DNA double strand and binds to its guanine moiety, inhibiting DNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity and interfering with the cellular transcription process, thereby inhibiting mRNA synthesis. It is a non-specific drug of the cell cycle, particularly sensitive in the G1 phase and prevents G1 phase cells from entering the S phase.
