Danshen extract is a dry root and rhizome extract of Danshen, a plant in the family Lamiaceae. It contains bioactive substances such as tanshinone, cryptotanshinone, isotanshinone, tanshinone, and tanshinol, as well as vitamins A, E, and metal elements such as iron and potassium.
