Catechin Usage and Function.

Catechins are flavan-3-ol type compounds found in a wide variety of plants, such as catechins from the legume family, hickory cherries from the Rosaceae family, ginkgo biloba from the Ginkgoaceae family, jujube from the Huckleberry family, rooibos leaves from the Oleaceae family, and endosperm of betel nut from the Betel nut family.
