    CN201210553119.2 provides a method for extracting and purifying 6-gingerol from ginger with a simple process, easy operation and high separation efficiency and separation purity.

    It includes the following steps:

    • (1) extraction and concentration of gingerol: sliced ginger is placed in a small multifunctional extraction and concentration tank, and extracted with ethanol with a mass concentration of 80~95% at a material-liquid mass-volume ratio of 1:6~15 under heating reflux at 60~80° C. The extraction is carried out for a period of 2~3 hours each time, and each batch of ginger is extracted for two~four times, and the extract from each extraction is flowed into said small multifunctional extraction and concentration tank, and then uniformly concentrated to obtain the ginger extract;
    • (2) ginger phenol extraction: the said ginger extract is placed in a glass reactor and extracted with ethyl acetate, the number of extraction is 2~4 times, and the extract is combined to obtain the extract; the extract is recovered by rotary evaporator under reduced pressure to obtain the crude extract of ginger phenol; the volume ratio of the said ginger extract to the said ethyl acetate is 1:2~4;
    • (3) silica gel column chromatography: dissolve said gingerol crude extract in ethyl acetate, and then add said gingerol crude extract 2~4 times the weight of silica gel mixing samples, solvent ethyl acetate evaporated dry, dry on the silica gel column; with petroleum ether-ethyl acetate mixed solvent isocratic elution, thin-layer chromatography TCL detection, collection of eluent containing 6-gingerol part, with the rotary evaporator to recover said eluate under reduced pressure to obtain the crude 6-gingerol; said crude 6-gingerol was again put on a silica gel column, and the purer 6-gingerol was obtained by elution, detection, collection and recovery of solvent according to the above method;
    • (4) Preparation of HPLC purification: the purer 6-gingerol obtained from said step (3) was dissolved with methanol-water mixed solvent to prepare HPLC purification, eluted with methanol-water mixed solvent as mobile phase isocratic elution, the largest chromatographic peak was collected, and placed on a rotary evaporator and evaporated to a constant weight, that is, to obtain the highly pure 6-Gingerol.
