Reishi Mushroom Extract Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Reishi Mushrooms Extract is a product extracted from the mycelium of Ganoderma Ganodermalucidum K., etc. It contains ergosterol, fungal lysozyme, alginose, coumarin glycosides and other chemical constituents. Commercial extracts are usually labelled for ganoderic acid or ganoderma polysaccharides.

Uses of Reishi Mushroom Extract.

Extraction method of Bulk Red Ginseng Extract Powder.

There are many methods of extracting Ganoderma lucidum, we use ethanol extraction, ether-water partitioning and then ethyl acetate-water partitioning. Ether fraction, ethyl acetate fraction and water fraction were obtained. The ether fraction was treated with acid-base treatment to obtain a neutral fat-soluble fraction and an acidic fat-soluble fraction, respectively.

Fatty acids and sterols were isolated from the neutral fat-soluble fraction; triterpenoids were obtained from the acidic fat-soluble fraction; alkaloids and furan derivatives were obtained from the ethyl acetate fraction; and nucleosides and amino acids were obtained from the aqueous fraction.

Most of the fat-soluble parts in Ganoderma lucidum were separated and purified by repeated silica gel column chromatography, and the purer parts were separated and purified by preparative thin-layer, low-pressure column chromatography, and high-performance liquid chromatography (positive and negative phase) preparation.

The separation of water-soluble components is separated and purified by ionic resin and macroporous resin method. The common solvents used in silica gel chromatography are chloroform - methanol, petroleum ether - ethyl acetate, ethyl acetate - acetone and so on.
