Solomonseal Rhizome Extract Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati Extract is the dried rhizome extract of Rhizoma Dianthus, Rhizoma Polygonati or Rhizoma Polygonati Multiflori of Liliaceae, containing Rhizoma Polygonati polysaccharides, amino acids and so on. Commonly used in the treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease, leukopenia, aplastic anaemia, drug-induced deafness and so on.

Uses of Solomonseal Rhizome Extract.

1. It is used in cases of deficiency of qi and yin in the spleen and stomach. If the spleen and stomach qi deficiency, yellow face, tiredness, little food weakness, often with Codonopsis, atractylodes macrocephala, Chen Pi, etc.; such as the spleen and stomach yin deficiency, hunger and food, epigastric rumpus, dry mouth and throat, tongue red and less fluid, more with Northern Radix Panax Ginseng, Ophiopogon flexuosus, Dendrobium officinale and so on.
