Farnesol Raw Materials Powder Farnesol Details
Farnesol Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Farnesol has a variety of actions in organisms, including lowering blood glucose, free fatty acid and triglyceride levels, attenuating hepatic ER stress and liver injury, and inhibiting HSC activation, thereby ameliorating NASH steatosis, inflammation and fibrosis.
In addition, farnesol X receptor (FXR) is a bile acid-binding transcription factor that plays an important role in lipid metabolism and inflammation. When bile acids bind to FXR, FXR binds to the vimentin X receptor to form a heterodimer that regulates the expression of target genes.
Uses of Farnesol.
Farnesol is a colorless liquid, almost insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. Its molecular formula is C15H26O and molecular weight is 222.36. farnesol is found in plants such as Brazilian sandalwood, yellow anemone seed, ylang ylang, acacia, Peruvian balsam, rose hay, tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom.
Farnesol has insulin-sensitizing and hepatoprotective properties with pleiotropic effects on glucose-lipid metabolism, lowering blood glucose, free fatty acid and triglyceride levels, reducing hepatic ER stress and liver injury, and inhibiting HSC activation, among other pathways to ameliorate NASH steatosis, inflammation and fibrosis.
In addition, farnesol can regulate bile acid metabolism, selectively agonize the bile acid-binding transcription factor FXR, reduce bile acid levels, alleviate hepatic steatosis, inflammation and collagen deposition, and improve NASH fibrosis.
