Eicosapentaenoic acid, also known as EPA, is an important Omega-3 fatty acid with significant cardiovascular health benefits. Studies have shown that increased EPA intake can be effective in treating coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.
