Chlorophenesin powder Classification.
Chlorphenesin is mainly used as a muscle relaxant, which works by blocking nerve impulses from being sent to the brain. In cosmetics, it is used as a preservative because of its antifungal and antibacterial properties.
As a preservative, it prevents various products from experiencing these problems such as viscosity changes, pH changes, emulsion breaking problems, visible microbial growth, colour changes and unpleasant odour production.
In addition to its use in treating fungal-induced nail problems, the ingredient is most commonly used in facial moisturisers, anti-ageing serums, sunscreens, foundations, eye creams, cleansers, mascaras and concealers.
In medicine, chlorphenesinol-related preparations are antigen-related immunosuppressants that inhibit ige-mediated histamine release. Chlorphenesin is also classified as an antifungal drug, which is indicated for antifungal, bacterial, vaginal mycobacterial, and trichomonas conditions in a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
Uses of Chlorophenesin.
Chlorphenesin is a preservative widely used in cosmetics, and has been allowed to be used as a preservative in cosmetics in Europe since 1996, and also in Japan and the United States.
Chlorphenesin is more effective against fungi, and its antiseptic effect is enhanced when used in combination with other preservatives.
