Pharmaceutical raw materials powder Fucoxanthin
Product Overview:
Fucoxanthin, also known as fucoxanthin and fucoxanthin, is a natural pigment of the lutein class of carotenoids, accounting for more than 10% of the total number of about 700 naturally occurring carotenoids, with a yellowish to brownish colour, and is contained in brown algae, diatoms, golden algae and yellow green algae. It is widely found in various algae, marine phytoplankton, aquatic shellfish and other plants and animals. It has anti-tumour, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, weight loss, nerve cell protection, increase the content of ARA (arachidonic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) in mice, and other pharmacological effects, and it is widely used as a medicine, skincare and beauty products, as well as health care products in the market.

Pharmaceutical raw materials powder Fucoxanthin Details
Fucoxanthin Powder Usage and Synthesis.
1. In addition to being used as a weight loss health product, it can also be applied to all kinds of food, such as butter, pies, green tea pastry and other baked goods, to increase the colour and functionality of the product.
2. Used as egg yolk colouring agent.
3. Skin care and beauty products.
4. As medicine, used in the treatment of skin cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer and other cancers.
Uses of Fucoxanthin.
Fucoxanthin (also known as phycocyanin), a carotenoid found in brown seaweed, is being studied for its fat-burning abilities. It reduces the amount of fat and does not stimulate the brain. It looks healthy, but more evidence is needed. It also has other health benefits such as correcting abnormalities in glucose metabolism in muscle tissue, its may help diabetics, and it may lower cholesterol levels and triglycerides through a currently unproven mechanism. After supplementing the body with fucoxanthin, blood pressure decreased and liver fat storage and liver enzyme values were reduced.
Pharmacological action of Fucoxanthin.
1.Anti-tumour effects
(1)Skin cancer: Fucoidan can inhibit the enhanced activity of mouse epidermal ornithine decarboxylase induced by tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA), and at the same time inhibit the activation of human herpesvirus induced by TPA, which can inhibit the skin tumour induced by TPA.
(2)Colorectal cancer: Fucoidan inhibited the formation of duodenal carcinoma induced by N-ethyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine. Fucoidan significantly inhibited the growth of colon cancer cell line cell lines, including Caco-2, HT-29 and DLD-1. It induced DNA breaks in colon cancer cells, promoted apoptosis, and inhibited the expression of apoptosis-related protein Bcl-2. Fucoxanthin dose-dependently inhibited the proliferation of human colon cancer cell line WiDr cells, and blocked the cell cycle in G0/G1 phase and induced apoptosis.
(3)Haematological tumours
Effects of fucoxanthin on acute myeloid leukaemia HL-60 cell line. Fucoxanthin can exert a significant inhibitory effect on proliferation of HL-60 cells. Effects of fucoxanthin on adult T-lymphoblastic leukaemia. Fucoxanthin and its metabolite fucoxanthinol can inhibit the survival of human T-cell leukaemia virus type 1 (humanT-celllymphotropicvirustype1, HTLV-1)-infected T cells and adult T-cell leukaemia cells.
(4) Prostate.
Cancer Fucoxanthin significantly reduces prostate cancer cell survival and induces apoptosis. Fucoidan and its metabolite fucoxanthin can inhibit the proliferation of PC-3 cells and activate caspase-3, thus inducing apoptosis.
(5)Hepatocellular carcinoma
Fucoxanthin has an inhibitory effect on the growth of human hepatocellular carcinoma HepG2 cells, which can block the cells in the G0/G1 phase and inhibit the phosphorylation of the Ser780 site of Rb protein.
