Pharmaceutical raw materials Pteroic Acid Powder
Product Overview:
Pteridine is a derivative of pteridine, pteridine is a pigment isolated from the wings of butterflies, hence the name pteridine. Pteridine is composed of pyrimidine and pyrazine rings, and is also a component of the vitamin folate. Recently, new drug research has found that folic acid has a targeted effect in animals, and it will guide drug molecules into designated cells, thus playing a therapeutic role. Pteric acid is an important precursor for the synthesis of these drugs containing folic acid carriers. The preparation method of low price and high quality pterophenic acid is an important guarantee for the development and production of this new drug.

Pharmaceutical raw materials Pteroic Acid Powder Details
Pteroic Acid Usage and Synthesis.
Pterophenic acid is a biological compound that, when combined with monoglutamine acid, becomes folic acid. Pterophenic acid is a heterocyclic compound. Pure folic acid is composed of three components: pteridine on the left, para amino benzoic acid (PABA antigray) in the middle, and glutamic acid on the right.
If the gluten on the right side of the structure is replaced by other structures, the function of this vitamin is lost. On the other hand, if pteroic acid is combined with three or seven glutenic acids, it is more biologically active. Folic acid is relatively stable in neutral or alkaline liquids, but it is not very stable in acidic liquids, and it is also very sensitive to light, so it should be packed in brown glass jars.
Uses of Pteroic Acid.
Preparation of Pteroic Acid.
Pteric acid can be prepared by various conventional methods, including synthesis, microbial degradation of folic acid, enzymatic degradation of folic acid, hydrolysis of folic acid, and other conventional methods. In general, pteric acid prepared by these methods can usually be contaminated with a considerable amount of folic acid. For example, pteroic acid prepared by enzymatic degradation may contain 25% folic acid. Therefore, effective methods are needed to remove folic acid contaminants and other impurities from the preparation of pteric acid. Vitamin drug conjugates, including conjugates of pterophenic acid, can be prepared using synthetic methods. In some cases, those synthetic methods can also lead to the formation of by-products, impurities, or other contaminants.
