    Product Overview:

L-cysteine, also known as cysteine, is a non-essential amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and proteins are the material basis of life, from humans to microorganisms, and none of them are made up of proteins. Proteins are composed of peptides, and the peptide chain of peptides is composed of amino acids. Different proteins are made up of peptide chains with different sequences and lengths of amino acids. Genes, which are genetically related, are actually chains of amino acids in different orders.

Pharmaceutical intermediate L-Cysteine Raw Materials Powder Details

    L-Cysteine Powder Usage and Synthesis.

L-Cysteine is found in keratin, the main protein that makes up fingernails, toenails, skin and hair.L-Cysteine aids in the production of collagen, which maintains the elasticity and texture of the skin.

It is also related to the proteins of digestive enzymes. Cysteine can supply the -SH group to many important enzymes in the body, such as succinate dehydrogenase, lactate dehydrogenase, etc. L-cysteine is mainly used in the fields of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food. In cosmetics, L-cysteine is used in the preparation of perm essence, sunscreen, hair perfume and hair care essence, etc. In medicine, it is used in the preparation of methyl cysteine.

In the pharmaceutical field, it is used to prepare methyl cysteine, ethyl cysteine, acetyl cysteine, methyl cysteine, ethyl cysteine and comprehensive amino acid preparations and other drugs. Cysteine can be used as a protective drug against radiation damage.

In food, L-cysteine is used as bread fermentation aid (ripening agent), milk powder and juice with antioxidant stabiliser and pet animal food nutrients.

    L-Cysteine Powder

    Uses of L-Cysteine.

Mainly used in medicine, cosmetics, biochemical research and so on. Used in bakery materials to promote the formation of gluten and fermentation, moulding and preventing aging. Used in natural fruit juice to prevent vitamin C oxidation and prevent the juice from turning brown.

The product has a detoxification effect, can be used for acrylonitrile poisoning, aromatic acid poisoning. The product also has the effect of preventing radiation damage to the human body, and is also a drug for the treatment of bronchitis, especially as a phlegm remover (mostly in the form of acetyl L-cysteine methyl ester acid salt. In cosmetics, it is mainly used in beauty water, perm solution, and skin care creams for sun protection.

Bread improver; nutritional supplement; antioxidant; colour protectant. It has detoxification effect on acrylonitrile and aromatic acid; it has preventive effect on radiation damage; it has treatment effect on bronchitis and phlegm; it has antidrunkenness effect on absorbing alcohol and converting it to acetaldehyde in the body.

According to the provisions of GB2760-96, it is allowed to be used in spices.

    L-Cysteine

    Functionality of L-Cysteine.

Cysteine helps detoxify the body. It is the best free radical scavenger along with selenium and vitamin E. Cysteine is also a precursor to glutathione, which binds and detoxifies harmful substances in the liver. It protects the liver and brain from damage caused by cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.

Because cysteine is more soluble than cystine, it is more readily available to the body to treat a variety of diseases. Vitamin B6 is necessary for the synthesis of cysteine in the body. In chronic diseases cysteine cannot be synthesised, so people with chronic diseases need higher doses of cysteine, e.g. 1g 3 times a day for 1 month.

Cysteine supplementation is needed in cases of rheumatoid arthritis, vascular sclerosis and cancer. Cysteine also accelerates healing after surgery and burns, complexes with heavy metals, and aids in iron absorption.

Both amino acids also accelerate fat utilisation and muscle formation. Cysteine clears mucus from the respiratory tract, so it can treat bronchitis, emphysema and tuberculosis. Cysteine (or acetylcysteine bound to acetyl) is taken to prevent side effects in chemotherapy or radiotherapy for cancer.

Because it increases glutathione levels in the lungs, kidneys, liver and bone marrow, it also has anti-ageing effects, for example it reduces the occurrence of age spots.

Cysteine inactivates insulin. Therefore patients suffering from diabetes should not take cysteine. The hereditary disease cystinuria leads to cystine stones, so you should not take these two amino acids either.

    L-Cysteine

    Production Method of L-Cysteine.

    1. tin particles reduction method will be dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid cystine, filtration, filtrate add tin particles temperature reflux 2h. will be reduced to dilute the solution with water, remove the remaining tin particles, saturated with hydrogen sulfide, filtration, filter residue with a small amount of water, wash, filtrate, combined, concentrated under reduced pressure, cooling crystallisation, filtration, drying to L-cysteine hydrochloride.

    2. Electrolysis reduction method will be distilled water, hydrochloric acid, cystine into the electrolysis tank stirring dissolved, maintained at 50 ℃ below the electrolysis to the end point. The electrolyte will be passed hydrogen sulfide for a few hours, filtration. Filtrate plus activated carbon decolourisation, filtration, concentration under reduced pressure, cooling crystallisation, filtration, drying, L-cysteine hydrochloride.
