Berberine Hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Berberine has antibacterial effect on hemolytic streptococcus, staphylococcus aureus, gonococcus and Fuchs' and Shigella dysentery bacillus, and enhances phagocytosis of white blood cells.
Berberine hydrochloride (commonly known as berberine hydrochloride) has been widely used in the treatment of gastroenteritis, bacillary dysentery, etc. It is also effective against tuberculosis, scarlet fever, acute tonsillitis and respiratory tract infections.
Berberine Hydrochloride has an inhibitory effect on dysentery bacillus, Escherichia coli, Diplococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, S. typhi, and amoeba protozoa. It is mainly used clinically for intestinal infections and bacillary dysentery.
It is also found to have antiarrhythmic effect. Berberine has strong in vitro and ex vivo anti-tumor activity and can induce B16 cell differentiation; with cytarabine hydrochloride in vitro has a synergistic effect.
Uses of Berberine Hydrochloride.
Berberine hydrochloride tablets are an over-the-counter medication that is used to treat intestinal infections, such as gastroenteritis. It contains berberine hydrochloride, which is a kind of flavonoid that has several effects.
Firstly, it has anti-infective effects, inhibiting a variety of bacteria, especially Shigella spp. and S. typhi, which have stronger inhibitory effects.
