Pyruvic acid raw Powder Pyruvic acid Details
Pyruvic acid Usage and Synthesis.
Pyruvic acid and its salts are widely used in the medical field, for the production of sedatives, antioxidants, antiviral agents, synthetic drugs for the treatment of hypertension, etc.
Uses of Pyruvic acid.
It can be used in the synthesis of medicines, amino acids (substrates of L-tyrosine), etc. to improve efficiency, especially in the pharmaceutical industry to shorten and simplify the process. For example, 2-phenylcinchoninic acid made from this product is an antipyretic, analgesic and diuretic. Using this product as a raw material can greatly reduce production costs. In addition, it is also used as a raw material for the synthesis of anti-tuberculosis drugs, isoniazid calcium pyruvate, hormones, and the anthelmintic pyruniumpamote; it is also used as a pesticide raw material; using pyruvic acid, indole and ammonia as raw materials for biochemical reactions to produce tryptophan; in the production of monosodium glutamate, this product can be used to increase the yield of L-threonine; spices are edible spices allowed for use in accordance with my country's GB2760-1996 regulations.
Preparation of Pyruvic acid.
Prodct Method of Pyruvic acid.
Obtained by the reaction of tartaric acid and potassium pyrosulfate. First, mix the tartaric acid and potassium pyrosulfate thoroughly, put them into a glass-lined reaction pot, and heat them in an oil bath to about 180°C. The solid begins to melt and a large amount of foam rises. Turn on the stirrer to break up the foam to prevent overflow. Then raise the temperature to 220°C, and pyruvic acid will evaporate. Keep the oil temperature at 245°C until the pyruvic acid is evaporated.
