Pharmaceutical intermediates Clascoterone raw Powder Details
Clascoterone Usage and Synthesis.
Clastone is a synthetic adrenergic beta-2 receptor agonist used in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory diseases. It can dilate bronchial smooth muscles and reduce bronchospasm, thus relieving asthma symptoms.
Uses of Clascoterone.
The main mechanism of action of clastone in human body is to stimulate the adrenergic β2 receptor on the membrane of bronchial smooth muscle, and through a series of signal transduction processes, finally relax bronchial smooth muscle and relieve asthma symptoms. Specifically, when clastone enters the body, it binds to the adrenergic β2 receptor on the cell membrane of bronchial smooth muscle, causing a series of physiological changes within the cell. First, it activates the adenylate cyclase inside the cell, raising the level of cAMP inside the cell. cAMP is an important second messenger substance that can further activate protein kinase A, reduce the concentration of Ca2+ in bronchial smooth muscle cells, and thus relax bronchial smooth muscle. In addition, cAMP can also inhibit the phosphodiesterase activity in bronchial smooth muscle cells, further maintain the level of cAMP, and thus extend the action time of diastolic bronchus.
In addition to its effect on bronchial smooth muscle, clastone also suppresses allergic and inflammatory reactions. Studies have shown that clastone can inhibit the infiltration and aggregation of inflammatory cells in the airway mucosa and reduce the edema and inflammation of the airway mucosa. In addition, clastone can also inhibit the release of allergic mediators such as histamine and leukotriene, thereby reducing the damage of allergic reactions and inflammatory reactions to airway mucosa.
Pharmacological action of Clascoterone.
CRAFT method of Clascoterone.
There are a variety of methods for making clastone, one of which is commonly prepared by the condensation reaction of phenylethylamine and phthalimide. Specifically, phenylethylamine is first condensed with phthalimide to obtain phenoxyethylaniline. Then phenoxyethylaniline is chlorinated to obtain chlorphenoxyethylaniline. Finally, the reduction reaction of chlorophenoxyethylaniline was carried out to obtain clastone.
