    Fusidic acid oral suspension/fusidic acid sodium for injection:

    For use in a variety of infections caused by various sensitive bacteria, especially staphylococci, such as osteomyelitis, sepsis, endocarditis, recurrent infections of cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections, surgical and traumatic infections.

    Fusidic acid cream:

    Used for skin infections caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Propionibacterium acnes, Corynebacterium minutum and other fusidic acid-sensitive bacteria. The main indications include: impetigo, boils, carbuncles, onychomycosis, traumatic infections, beard sores, sweat infections, erysipelas, folliculitis, and acne vulgaris. It is indicated for infections of the face and head and other areas without external obstruction.

    Fusidic acid eye drops: for acute bacterial conjunctivitis.

    Clinically fusidic acid is used for osteomyelitis or skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria. It is also used for deep infections where other antibiotic treatments have failed, such as sepsis, pneumonia and endocarditis. Adults: oral, 500 mg once, tid; double for severe cases. Topical administration, bid ~ tid, applied to the affected area, the course of treatment is 7 days. Treatment of scabies can be extended according to the needs of the condition. Fucidin®systemic has occasionally been reported to potentiate the anticoagulant effects of coumarin derivatives or other anticoagulant drugs, and the anticoagulant effects can be controlled at a defined level by adjusting the oral dose. Fucidin®systemic should be avoided in patients with CYP-3A4 biotransformation drugs.

    2. The combination of Fucidin®systemic with HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors such as statins can lead to increased plasma concentrations of both drugs, resulting in increased creatine kinase levels (rhabdomyolysis), muscle weakness and pain.

    3. The combination of Fucidin®systemic with HIV protease inhibitors such as ritonavir and saquinavir can result in elevated plasma concentrations of both drugs and may cause hepatotoxicity. Elevated plasma concentrations of cyclosporine have been reported with Fucidin®systemic in combination with cyclosporin.
