Oseltamivir phosphate Raw Materials Powder
Product Overview:
Oseltamivir phosphate is an anti-influenza virus drug under the trade name Tamiflu, which has the appearance of a white to yellowish-white powder and can be classified as a selective inhibitor of influenza virus neuraminidase of type A (A) and B (B), which prevents the virus from being released from the infected cells and spreading by inhibiting the virus neuraminidase, thus controlling the symptoms of influenza.

Oseltamivir phosphate Raw Materials Powder Details
Oseltamivir phosphate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Oseltamivir phosphate is a new type of neuraminidase (NA) inhibitor with high selectivity, which can be used for the treatment and prevention of influenza virus infections, bronchitis accompanied by infectious diseases, pneumonia, generalised pain, fever and severe illnesses, and it is especially effective against influenza viruses of A and B. Oseltamivir has been used in the treatment and prevention of influenza virus infections, as well as in the treatment and prevention of bronchitis, pneumonia, generalised pain and severe fever.
Oseltamivir was marketed in Switzerland in 1999, and a large number of clinical practices have proved that it has the advantages of high efficiency, not easy to be resistant to drugs, good patient tolerance and high safety, and has been widely used as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for the treatment of influenza in the clinic.
Uses and functions of Oseltamivir phosphate.
Oseltamivir phosphate is used for the treatment of influenza A and B in adults and children 1 year of age and older (it is effective in the treatment of influenza A and B, but data on the clinical use of influenza B are not yet available); and for the prophylaxis of influenza A and B in adults and adolescents 13 years of age and older.
Oseltamivir Phosphate is a potent and selective inhibitor of neuraminidase, an enzyme essential for the replication of influenza A and B viruses, for the treatment of pandemic influenza.
Pharmacological Effects of Oseltamivir phosphate.
Oseltamivir phosphate is the pharmaceutical precursor of its active metabolite, which (oseltamivir carboxylate) is a selective inhibitor of influenza virus neuraminidase.
Neuraminidase is a glycoprotein enzyme on the surface of viruses whose activity is essential for the release of newly formed virus particles from infected cells and for further dissemination of infectious viruses in the human body.
The active metabolite of Oseltamivir phosphate inhibits the neuraminidase activity of influenza A and B viruses. Half inhibitory concentrations of viral neuraminidase activity in vitro were as low as nanogram (ng) levels.
Inhibition of influenza virus growth by the active metabolite was observed in vitro, as well as inhibition of influenza virus replication and pathogenicity in vivo. The product reduces the spread of influenza A or B viruses by inhibiting virus release from infected cells.
Usage of Bulk Oseltamivir phosphate Powder.
Dissolve completely in warm boiled water and take by mouth.
Oseltamivir phosphate can be taken with food or separately. However, in some patients, taking the drug with food may improve the drug's tolerability.
Treatment of influenza
Treatment should be started on the first or second day (ideally within 36 hours) of the onset of influenza symptoms.
Dosage Guidelines
Adults and adolescents
The recommended oral dose of oseltamivir phosphate in adults and adolescents 13 years of age and older is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days.
Children
The following weight-dose schedule is recommended for children over 1 year of age
