High Quality Chlorogenic acid Raw Powder Details
Chlorogenic acid Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Chlorogenic acid is mainly found in Lonicera japonica and Asteraceae tarragon plants, and its content is higher in plants such as eucommia leaf (2-5%), honeysuckle (1-5.9%), sunflower seed (1.5-3%) and coffee bean (2-8%). Needle-shaped crystals from water, semi-hydrate, 110 ℃ to anhydrous. Melting point 208 ° C, [α]D25-33.5 ° (water, C = 1), K = 2.2 × 10-3 (27 ° C). Has a weak acidic taste and astringent. 4% solubility in water at 25 ℃, more soluble in hot water, soluble in ethanol, acetone, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, insoluble in chloroform, ether and carbon disulfide.
Boiled with concentrated hydrochloric acid to get blue dye. Can make bromine water discolouration, and concentrated hydrogen iodide azeotropic benzoic acid, and water at 230 ℃ co-thermal decomposition of phenol, and dilute hydrochloric acid co-thermal decomposition of caffeic acid and cinchona acid, etc., room temperature and dilute alkali role only to get caffeic acid and cinchona acid. Chlorogenic acid and its isomers isochlorogenic acid and neochlorogenic acid are also found in the fruits, leaves and other tissues of dicotyledonous plants, and are important factors in plant metabolism.
The molecular structure of chlorogenic acid contains an ester bond and an unsaturated double bond, three hydroxyl groups and two phenolic hydroxyl groups, and is relatively chemically unstable and sensitive to light and heat. Structurally, chlorogenic acid is an ester condensed from caffeic acid and quinic acid, which are phenolic compounds. As the molecule has o-diphenol hydroxyl group, it has strong reducing property and is easier to be oxidised by free radicals, thus showing good free radical scavenging effect and anti-lipid peroxidation effect.
Uses and functions of Chlorogenic acid.
Chlorogenic acid has antibacterial activity, MIC against Staphylococcus aureus is 400ng/ml; IC50 for hyaluronidase inhibition is 1.85mmol/L; it is an inhibitor of glucose-6-P shifter enzyme; it reduces non-insulin-dependent glucose excretion excessively; it has better free radical scavenging activity than tocopherol and ascorbic acid, and the inhibition strength of light free radicals is 5 times stronger than that of penicillin ammonia; it is anti-mutagenic; Hepatoprotective and choleretic, inhibiting viral replication
It has a wide range of antibacterial effects, beneficial to the gallbladder, haemostasis, increase white blood cells and antiviral effects, and has the effect of shortening the time of blood coagulation and haemorrhage. Used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic, cooling the blood and dissipating heat
Clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling and dispersing wind-heat, with broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties, it has obvious inhibitory effect on many kinds of bacteria such as haemolytic streptococcus, dysentery bacillus, typhoid bacillus and so on.
Pharmacological Effects of Chlorogenic acid.
Chlorogenic acid has a very good biological activity, with the inhibition of hyaluronidase and glucose-6-phosphatase, free radicals clear anti-lipid peroxidation anti-mutagenesis and cardiovascular expansion of the coronary, lipid-lowering has a special effect, as well as antibacterial and antiviral, hepatoprotective choleretic effect.
Chlorogenic acid is the condensation of caffeic acid and quinic acid, which is blue when met with iron, similar to tannin, but does not precipitate proteins, so there is no astringent effect. Caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid have a wide range of bacteriostatic effect, but in vivo can be inactivated by protein. This product is similar to caffeine, oral or intraperitoneal injection, can increase the central excitability of rats.
Chlorogenic acid, taken orally with caffeic acid, increases the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the human stomach and slows the pulse, while quinic acid does not.
Chlorogenic acid significantly increases the peristalsis of the small intestine in rats or mice, and chlorogenic, caffeic, and quinic acids all increase the tone of the rat uterus, an effect which can be cancelled by popaverine, but which atropine cannot affect.
Caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid also enhanced bile secretion in rats. In isolated rabbit ileum specimens, it enhanced the action of adrenaline, but had no effect on the glucose-raising effect of adrenaline.
Production method of Chlorogenic acid Powder.
1. Naturally occurring in plants such as the whole grass of Capsule (Sambucusjavanica Reinw.) of the Lonicera family, and the flowers of Lythrumsalicaria L. of the Lythrum family. It can also be obtained by chemical synthesis.
