Huangtianin is a total alkaloid extracted from the stems and roots of Huangtian, a plant in the family of Fangzhi, the main component of which is palm leaf Fangzhi alkaloid, and also contains berberine and so on. It has an inhibitory effect on a variety of gram-positive and negative bacteria, and has the effect of enhancing the phagocytosis of white blood cells. It is used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, tonsillitis, enteritis, dysentery, urinary system infections, surgery and obstetrics and gynaecology bacterial infectious diseases.
