Spectinomycin Hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

The antibacterial mechanism of Spectinomycin Hydrochloride is the same as other aminoglycoside antimicrobials, it also enters into the bacterial cell, and selectively acts on the 30s subunit of the bacterial cell nuclear proteasome, which produces a strong inhibition of bacterial cell protein synthesis, and produces a strong killing effect on sensitive bacteria.

Uses of Spectinomycin Hydrochloride.

For the treatment of G-bacteria, Mycoplasma and the co-infection of Mycoplasma and bacteria. Mainly used for the prevention and treatment of E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma infections in piglets.

Spectinomycin Hydrochloride belongs to broad-spectrum and rapid bactericides, it has strong effects on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Proteus, Haemolytic Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pneumococcus, and so on; therefore, it has a better clinical therapeutic effect in the treatment of infectious diseases caused by the above sensitive bacteria.

Pharmacological Effects of Spectinomycin Hydrochloride.

Spectinomycin Hydrochloride is an aminoglycoside antibiotic produced by Streptomyces streptomycesspectabilis, which has high antibacterial activity mainly against Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and good antibacterial activity against β-lactamase-producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae; and moderate antibacterial activity against many Enterobacteriaceae.

Prophidium and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are usually resistant to this product; strains resistant to this product are often still sensitive to streptomycin, gentamicin, tobramycin and so on. This product has good effect on Mycoplasma lysodeikticum, and has no activity on Chlamydia trachomatis and Syphilis spirochetes.

The mechanism of action of Spectinomycin Hydrochloride is to bind to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosome and inhibit bacterial protein synthesis
