Kanamycin sulfate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Kanamycin Sulfate, the name of a western medicine. Commonly used preparations include tablets, capsules, injections, eye drops, and so on. It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It is used to treat serious infections caused by sensitive gram-negative bacilli, such as bacillary dysentery and enteritis.
It can also be used to clean the intestinal lumen before abdominal surgery, and can also be used for pneumonia, sepsis, abdominal infections, etc. The latter two often need to be applied in combination with other antibacterial drugs.
Eye drops are used for the treatment of conjunctivitis, keratitis, dacryocystitis, blepharitis, blepharitis and other infections caused by sensitive Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus mirabilis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Staphylococcus.
Uses and functions of Kanamycin sulfate.

Pharmacological Effects of Kanamycin sulfate.
Kanamycin sulphate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It has good antibacterial effect on most Enterobacteriaceae such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Shigella, Salmonella, Cotoneaster, Prophidium, Yersinia, etc.; Influenza, Brucella, meningococcus, gonococcus, etc. are also mostly sensitive to this product.
Kanamycin also has some effect on Staphylococcus spp. (methicillin-sensitive strain) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and is ineffective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Other Gram-positive bacteria such as Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Enterococcus spp. and anaerobes are mostly resistant to the product.
Kanamycin sulfate mainly binds to the 30s subunit of bacterial ribosome and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. In recent years, the number of drug-resistant strains has increased significantly due to the production of aminoglycoside passivation enzymes by some bacteria, which cause the loss of antibacterial activity.
Kanamycin has complete cross-resistance with streptomycin and neomycin, and partial cross-resistance with other aminoglycosides.
Drug interactions of Bulk Kanamycin sulfate Powder.
1、Combined with other aminoglycosides or sequentially applied locally or systemically, may increase ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity, and neuromuscular blocking effects.
2、Combined with neuromuscular blocking agents, it can aggravate the neuromuscular blocking effect, resulting in muscle weakness and respiratory depression.
3、Combined with colistin, cisplatin, etanercept, furosemide or vancomycin (or desmethyl vancomycin), or successive local or systemic application, may increase ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity.
4, with cefotiophene or cefazolin local or systemic use may increase nephrotoxicity.
5、Combination with polymyxin injections, or successive local or systemic applications, may increase nephrotoxicity and neuromuscular blocking effect.
Other nephrotoxic and ototoxic drugs should not be combined with this product or applied successively to avoid increasing nephrotoxicity or ototoxicity.
7, aminoglycosides and β-lactams (cephalosporins and penicillins) can lead to mutual inactivation when mixed. This product and the above antibiotics must be used in conjunction with the vial drip. It should not be used with other drugs in the same bottle.
