Oxytetracycline Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Tetracycline antibiotic. It is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic agent to which many Rickettsia spp., Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp., Spirochaetes, amoebae, and some Plasmodium spp. are also susceptible. Enterococcus spp. are resistant to it. Others, such as Actinobacillus, Bacillus anthracis, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium, Nucella, Vibrio, Brucella, Campylobacter, Yersinia, etc., are sensitive to the product.

Uses and functions of Oxytetracycline.
