Insecticide Raw Materials Nitenpyram Powder 150824-47-8
Product Overview:
Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid insecticide developed by Takeda Japan in 1989 and registered in Japan in 1995. It is mainly used on rice, fruits, tea and vegetables. Enidiamide can also be used to control fleas and ticks on cats and dogs. However, in China, with the withdrawal of five highly toxic pesticides such as methamidophos and fipronil from the market, enidiamide is one of the alternative products that have been highlighted by the plant protection department

Insecticide Raw Materials Nitenpyram Powder 150824-47-8 Details
Nitenpyram Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Enidiamide is a nicotinic acetylcholinesterase receptor inhibitor with systemic and osmotic effects, mainly acting on insect nerves, inhibiting ethylphthalide cholinesterase activity, acting on cholinergic receptors, expanding the septal potential difference after the spontaneous discharge, and making synaptic septal stimulation decline, resulting in the loss of nerve axon septal potential channel stimulation, and the nerve axon synaptic receptor of the insect has a neuroblockade, resulting in the death of the pests by paralysis. The insect will be paralysed and die.
Due to the high water solubility and low partition coefficient, the toxicity to animals is low, and most of the metabolites can be excreted with the metabolism of the body.
Uses and functions of Nitenpyram.
Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid insecticide with unique chemical and biological properties.
Nitenpyram mainly acts on insect nerves and has a nerve blocking effect on the synaptic receptors of pests. It is used in rice, vegetables and other crops, and shows excellent activity against various aphids, whiteflies, rice leafhoppers and thrips, and has the four major advantages of high efficiency, low toxicity, endosuction and non-interactive resistance, as well as a broader spectrum of insecticides, a long residual period (applied at 100mg/kg, it lasts for 15d), and the lethal rate can still reach 100% when it is applied at 0.5-0.8mg/kg, which is safe to use, and pests are not easy to produce antibodies. For the rice fly, at 0.5~0.8mg/kg, the lethality rate can still reach 100%, it is safe to use, and it is not easy for pests to produce antibodies.
Characteristic of Nitenpyram.
Pure product is light yellow crystal, m.p. 83~84℃, relative density 1.40 (26℃), vapour pressure 1.1×10-9Pa (25℃), solubility at 20℃: xylene 4.5g/L, acetone 290g/L, chloroform 700g/L, water 840g/L.
Synthetics of Bulk Nitenpyram Powder.
2-Chloro-5-chloromethylpyridine is a pesticide intermediate for the synthesis of enidiamide, which is not only used for the synthesis of enidiamide, but also an important intermediate for other neonicotinoid insecticides imidacloprid, acetamiprid, and thiamethoxam.
There are two main synthesis processes: both routes start with the synthesis of the key intermediate N-(6-chloro-3-pyridinylmethyl)-N-ethylamine (Intermediate 2), and the first route is to synthesise the key intermediate N-(6-chloro-3-pyridinylmethyl)-N-ethylamine (Intermediate 2).
The first route is to synthesise intermediate 3 through 1,1-dimethylthio-2-nitroethylene, and the second route is to make intermediate 4 through 1,1-dichloro-2-nitroethylene, and then finally to react with methylamine to get the final product, allylcarbamate.
