Insecticides Cyromazine Powder Veterinary medicine
Product Overview:
Cyromazine, also known as maggot killer, is a new type of insect growth regulator, which has a killing effect on the larvae of Diptera insects, especially on several common fly larvae (maggots) breeding in faeces, and has a very good inhibition and killing effect. The difference between it and general fly killer is that it kills larvae-maggots, while general fly killer only kills adult flies and is more toxic.

Cyromazine Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Uses and functions of Cyromazine.
Cyromazine is an insect growth regulator for the control of leafhoppers. It causes morphological aberrations in the development of Diptera larvae and pupae, and inhibited or incomplete adult plumage, suggesting that this is due to interference with moulting and pupation.
Neither oral nor topical application is lethal to adults, but hatching of eggs is reduced after oral ingestion.
It is systemic in the plant body, has a strong conductive effect when applied to the leaves, and is absorbed by the root system when applied to the soil and conducts to the top. Apply to beans, carrots, celery, melons, lettuce, onions, peas, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes treated with 12-30g/100L agent, or 75-225g/hm2.
Higher doses significantly prolonged the holding effect over lower doses. Soil application rates of 200-1000g/hm2 were used, and persistence was up to 8 weeks with the high rate.
Pharmacological Effect of Cyromazine.
Cyromazine is an insect growth regulator of the 1,3,5-triazine group, with specific activity against Diptera larvae and strong systemic conductivity. It induces morphological aberrations in Diptera larvae and pupae and incomplete or inhibited adult plumage.
Production Method of Bulk Cyromazine Powder.
2-Cyclopropylamino-4,6-dichloro homotriazobenzene was prepared by reacting cyanuronyl chloride with cyclopropylamine, then 2-Cyclopropylamino-4-chloro-6-amino homotriazobenzene was prepared by reacting with ammonia, and finally cyclopropylaminozine was prepared by reacting with ammonia.
