Tyvamectin, previously known as acetylisovaleryl tylosin (TAT), is a macrolide antibiotic. The mechanism of action is the same as other macrolide antibiotics. It binds to the 50S subunit of the nucleoproteasome of sensitive bacteria and affects bacterial protein synthesis by inhibiting peptide chain synthesis and elongation through the blockage of transpeptidation and/or mRNA displacement.

Acetylisovaleryltylosin tartrate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Tavanamycin has antibacterial activity against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria, such as staphylococci, micrococci, microbacteria, bacillus, rod-shaped bacilli, aerococci, campylobacter, enterococci, streptococci, arthrobacter and clostridium, etc.; it also has good antibacterial activity against mycoplasma, and has a better effect at high concentrations; but it has no effect on most Gram-negative bacteria.

Indications: Poultry: chronic respiratory disease, infectious rhinitis, air sacculitis, infectious sinusitis, salpingitis, etc. Clinical manifestations include coughing, fluttering of the nose, snorting, stretching of the neck and wheezing. Pharmacological Effect of Acetylisovaleryltylosin tartrate.
The antimicrobial spectrum is similar to that of Tylenol, with strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma, Spirochetes, most Gram-positive bacteria (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pneumococcus pneumoniae, Rodentium septicum, etc.) and some Gram-negative bacteria, especially strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma, with strong antimicrobial activity against Mycoplasma septicans and Mycoplasma synoviae.
After internal administration, the drug was rapidly absorbed.The peak concentration of the drug in chicken blood was reached after 30 minutes.
The original drug and its metabolites are distributed systemically, the drug concentration in the main tissues and organs is higher than the blood concentration, the highest concentration in liver, bile and kidney, and it is mainly discharged through bile via urine and faeces.
