Lincomycin hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Lincomycin hydrochloride is a semi-synthetic chlorinated derivative of lincomycin. It is effective in the treatment of septicemia caused by most gram-negative bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria, female reproductive tract, endometritis, non-gonorrhoeal tubo-ovarian abscess, pelvic cellulitis, postoperative vaginal adnexal infection, peritonitis, abscess, pneumonia, lung abscess, skin and soft tissue infection.

Also used for streptococcus and staphylococcus caused by sepsis, bone and joint infection, chronic bone and joint infection of the surgical auxiliary treatment, staphylococcus caused by acute blood-borne osteomyelitis, can also be used to treat methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus caused by infection. However, this product cannot penetrate cerebrospinal fluid, so it is not suitable for the treatment of meningitis. Topical application can treat suppurative infection of gram-positive bacteria.

Uses of Lincomycin hydrochloride.

Lincomycin is an antibiotic that forms cross-links within the peptidyl transferase ring region of 23S rRNA, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Lincolnmycin is mainly used to treat gram-positive bacteria, especially penicillin resistant gram-positive bacteria caused by various infections, mycoplasmosis caused by chronic respiratory disease in poultry, pig panting disease, anaerobic bacteria infections such as necrotizing enteritis in chickens, and is also used to treat treponemal dysentery in pigs, toxoplasmosis and actinomycosis in dogs and cats.

Drug interaction of Lincomycin hydrochloride.

① It has synergistic effect when used with Daguanomycin. When combined with gentamicin, it has synergistic effect on staphylococcus and streptococcus. It has antagonistic effect when combined with erythromycin.

② Combined with aminoglycosides and polypeptide antibiotics may aggravate the blocking effect on the neuromuscular junction.

(3) Combined with antidiarmal drugs that inhibit intestinal peristalsis can delay the discharge of intestinal endotoxin, resulting in aggravated diarrhea and prolonged diarrhea.
