Uses of Pullulanase powder.
Pullulanase is a thermostable debranching enzyme used at low pH. It can be used together with saccharifying enzyme to produce high glucose syrup and high maltose syrup from liquefied starch slurry. It is an enzyme made by genetically engineered Bacillus licheniformis. The enzyme is stable under high temperature and acidity, and can hydrolyze the α-1.6-D glycosidic bonds in liquefied starch to produce linear polysaccharides containing (1,4-α-D) glucose bonds.
