Pharmaceutical raw material Raw Ciprofloxacin (Hcl) Powder Details
Ciprofloxacin (Hcl) Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, an organic compound with the chemical formula C17H19ClFN3O3, is a quinolone antimicrobial drug mainly used for genitourinary infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including simple and complicated urinary tract infections, bacterial prostatitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis or cervicitis (including those caused by enzyme-producing strains);
Respiratory tract infections, including acute exacerbations of bronchial infections due to sensitive gram-negative bacilli and pulmonary infections;
Gastrointestinal infections, caused by Shigella spp, Salmonella spp, enterotoxin-producing Escherichia coli, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc.; and systemic infections such as typhoidal bone and joint infections, skin and soft-tissue infections, sepsis, and others.
Uses and functions of Ciprofloxacin (Hcl).
Ciprofloxacin is an anti-infective drug used to treat or prevent confirmed or highly suspected infections with sensitive bacteria, and it belongs to Class A varieties of the National Health Insurance Catalogue (2019 version) and the Basic Drug Catalogue varieties (2018 version).
It is also the quinolone with the strongest and safest clinical anti-Pseudomonas aeruginosa activity, mainly targeting respiratory tract infections, genitourinary infections, and intestinal infections, which is unanimously recognised by doctors in the clinic, and is the first-line first choice of anti-Pseudomonas aeruginosa recommended by domestic and international guidelines ("Guidelines for Clinical Application of Antimicrobial Drugs", and "WHO Anthrax Guidelines").
Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride can be used for sensitive bacteria caused by
(1) Genitourinary infections, including simple and complicated urinary tract infections, bacterial prostatitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis or cervicitis (including those caused by enzyme-producing strains).
(2) Respiratory tract infections, including acute episodes of bronchial infections and pulmonary infections due to sensitive gram-negative bacilli.
(3) Gastrointestinal infections, caused by Shigella spp, Salmonella spp, enterotoxin-producing Escherichia coli, hydrophilic Aeromonas spp, and Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
(4) Typhoid fever.
( (5) Bone and joint infections.
(6) Skin and soft tissue infections.
(7) Systemic infections such as septicaemia
Pharmacological Effect of Ciprofloxacin (Hcl).
Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride is a new type of quinolone antibacterial drug. The mechanism of action is that it can bind with the subunit A of bacterial DNA gyrase, thus inhibiting the cutting and linking function of the enzyme, preventing the replication of bacterial DAN, and presenting antibacterial effect.
Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride is water-soluble, broad-spectrum and highly efficient. It has significant antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Gonococcus, Streptococcus, Legionella, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycoplasma fragilis and Mycoplasma bovis, which is superior to other drugs of the same kind, as well as cephalosporins and aminoglycoside antibacterial agents, and it has obvious effect on the bacteria resistant to β-lactams and gentamicin.
