melamine Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Melamine is an important nitrogen heterocyclic organic chemical intermediate with urea as raw material, because of its environmental performance and wide range of uses and more and more favored by people, widely used in wood processing, plastics, coatings, water reducing agents, paper, adhesives, textile, leather, electrical appliances, medicine, flame retardants and other industries. After decades of development, China has developed its own unique semi-dry technology, at the same time also digest and absorb foreign advanced process technology and equipment, further enhancing the overall strength of the domestic tri-emanation industry. At present, China has become the world's largest melamine production base and export country.
Uses of melamine.
Melamine resin can be prepared by condensation polymerization with formaldehyde, which can be used in plastics and coatings industry, and can also be used as anti-folding and anti-shrinkage treatment agent for textile materials. The modified resin can be used as metal coating with bright color, durability and good hardness. It can also be used for strong, heat-resistant decorative sheet, moisture-proof paper and gray leather tanning agent, adhesive for synthetic fire retardant laminate, fixing agent or hardener for waterproof agent, etc. 582 melamine resin prepared from melamine, formaldehyde and butanol as raw materials. Used as a leveling agent for solvent-based polyurethane coatings, the effect is particularly good.

Preparation of melamine.
The melamine production plant adopts pressurized gas phase quenching method. The liquid urine in the urea plant area is used as raw material to generate melamine and by-product tail gas (ammonia and carbon dioxide) through catalytic reaction. The excess ammonia and carbon dioxide are sent to the urea co-production plant to co-produce urea, and the urea produced is sent to the melamine plant to realize the recycling production of raw materials.
In the post-melamine crystallization stage, after the process gas from the crystallizer is separated by the finished product cyclone separator, the 210℃ process gas enters the top of the liquid urine scrubber, contacts with the liquid urine sprayed down the downstream flow, passes through the liquid urine cooler after heat exchange to 133~138℃, and then enters the gas collector through five cylindrical cyclone separators. The gas is separated by the carrier gas cyclone separator and then enters the carrier gas compressor. Part of the gas is used as circulating carrier gas, and the other part of the gas enters the cold air fan and is sent to the crystallizer. The excess melamine tail gas is sent to the urea absorption system by the tail gas compressor for recycling.
Product Method of Bulk melamine Powder.
It is prepared by the reaction of dicyandiamide with ammonia in methanol solvent at 200℃. This method consumes 1180kg of dicyandiamide (98%) and 30kg of liquid ammonia per ton of product. Compared with this method, urea method has low cost and is widely used at present. Urea with ammonia as the carrier, silica gel as the catalyst, boiling reaction at 380-400℃ temperature, first decomposition to cyanic acid, and further condensation to produce melamine. The generated polyamine gas is cooled and captured to obtain a crude product, and then dissolved to remove impurities and recrystallize to obtain a finished product. Urea method for the production of melamine consumes about 3800kg of urea and 500kg of liquid ammonia per ton of products.
