Nitazoxanide Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Widely regarded as a highly effective, broad-spectrum drug against parasitic, bacterial and fungal infections in animals and humans, nitazoxanide is the first and only drug approved by the U.S.

Drug and Food Administration (FDA) for the treatment of the genus Cryptosporidium.

In vitro studies have shown that nitazoxanide has a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiparasitic effect, and is able to treat infections caused by helminths and protozoa such as Amoeba dysenteriae, Giardia lamblia, Trichomonas vaginalis, and bacteria such as Campylobacter jejuni, Clostridium difficile, Clostridium perfringens, Helicobacter pylori and so on.

This product is used for:

Pharmacological Effects of Nitazoxanide Raw.

Nitazoxanide for the treatment of roundworms and membranous shell tapeworms in children can provide effects similar to those of albendazole and praziquantel.

1. This product is a derivative of nitrothiopyrrolate amide with a structure similar to aspirin. Its antiprotozoal activity is related to the interference of pyruvate-iron oxidoreductase-dependent electron transfer reaction.

Studies show that this product is active in vivo and in vitro, and its antibacterial activity against anaerobic bacteria and Helicobacter pylori is stronger than that of metronidazole.  

Production method of Bulk Nitazoxanide Powder.

The product reaches Cmax 1-4h after oral administration.The binding rate to plasma proteins is 98%-99%. The product is rapidly metabolised to active tizoxanide upon entry into plasma, followed by glucuronidation to tizoxanide glucuronide. The t1/2 of this active metabolite is 1-1.6 h. It is mainly excreted in the bile, about 60%, and about 30% of the drug is excreted in the urine.
