Paeoniflorin Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Paeoniflorin can resist tissue cell oxidative stress damage, inhibit the activation of astrocytes, enhance the protection of nerves, for the striatum and nigrostriatal dopaminergic nerve cell damage has a significant antagonistic effect, and can improve the motor delay, and therefore can be used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy and other brain diseases. Preparation of Paeoniflorin.

Weigh 40kg white peony herbs, soaked in 70% ethanol overnight, reflux extraction 2 times, each time 2h, filtration, combined filtrate, rotary evaporation to no alcohol taste, adjust the liquid so that each 1ml of liquid is equivalent to 0.5g of raw drug, standby. Weigh 120kg (wet weight) LX38 resin, loaded into a stainless steel column (300 × 2300cm), column volume of 60L, on the sample, adsorption of 1h, the first 300L of water, 10% ethanol 300L to remove impurities, and then 50% ethanol 360L elution of paeoniflorin and paeonia lactiflora paeoniflora glycosides, and finally 95% ethanol regeneration of resin, the flow rate of 150-200L/h, the 50% ethanol elution of paeoniflorin and paeoniflorin. Finally, the resin was regenerated with 95% ethanol at a flow rate of 150-200L/h, and the 50% ethanol was concentrated and evaporated to obtain 2.52kg, in which the purity of paeoniflorin was 24% and that of paeoniflorin was 16%.
